Age & Entry
How old do you have to be to get into Alley Katz? Can you go at 18?
You must be 19 or older. As an Ontario licensed venue the minimum age is 19, not 18 — we ask anyone who appears under 30 for valid government photo ID.
What is the dress code?
Men need at least a half-sleeve t-shirt, knee-length shorts or longer, and shoes (no flip-flops).
Nights, Cover & Drinks
What nights are you open?
Alley Katz is a weekend nightlife lounge, open Friday & Saturday, 8 PM–3 AM. No booking or phone call is needed on those nights. Just walk in. On Wednesday and Thursday we close to the public for private club takeovers (20+ guests, custom quote): make Alley Katz yours for a night.
What is the cover charge?
Cover is $10 per person, and $5 each for couples.
Do you serve alcohol?
Yes — a fully licensed bar with a premium, higher-quality selection of drinks and cocktails (one of the things regulars come to us for).
Money & Prices
Is there an ATM, and what payment do you take?
Yes — ATM on-site; we accept all major credit and debit cards plus cash (Canadian and US).
Can I change US dollars or buy singles for tipping?
Yes. Our bar offers US-to-Canadian dollar exchange and sells US $1 bills for tipping entertainers on stage (the standard). Buying US singles with Canadian cash includes a service fee of about 10–15%.
How much is a lap dance or private dance?
Dance pricing follows industry norms, not the club. At most North American clubs dances are about $20 per song, with no fixed limit on how many songs, always based on the entertainer's consent; some clubs run 2-for-1 promos on slower nights. Alley Katz also has a separate VIP area available for a premium (currently about $20), plus VIP packages listed on our site.
The Alley Katz Experience
What makes Alley Katz different?
It's the most comfortable of Windsor's lounges — a cozy, modern, discreet room that's especially welcoming to couples and a younger crowd, with a premium cocktail selection. Its standout feature is the seating: the lowest stage in North America, 6 inches high, with plush couches right at its edge, for an up-close experience you won't find at a typical big-room club.
What's the stage and seating like at Alley Katz?
Alley Katz is built for an up-close, personal experience. The stage sits just 6 inches off the floor, the lowest stage in North America, with comfortable couches right at the stage's edge, so you're seated right beside the entertainers instead of across a room. It feels less like a big-room show and more like a personal performance for your seat.
Is it couples-friendly?
Yes — couples are welcome and get a discounted cover ($5 each). The room is built to be comfortable and discreet for weekend nightlife.
