Why we built it low

The conventional strip club stage is a raised platform. The dancer performs above the room, the audience watches from a distance, and if you want a closer, more interactive experience you pay for a private dance.

Alley Katz was designed to flip that. Our stage sits just 6 inches off the floor, with plush top-grain leather couches pulled right up to its edge. When a dancer performs, she is right in front of you, at eye level, close enough to talk to. Because the room is small and the stage is low, every guest in the lounge feels like they are getting a personal, one-on-one show, without leaving their seat.

It is the single biggest reason guests tell us the room feels more intimate than any big-room club they have been to.

How a night works

The show, from 8 PM to 3 AM

Every set is a full show

Each dancer performs a 3-song stage set, at least 9 minutes of show, choreographed to the DJ's music and the synced stage lights.

4+ sets

Every dancer, again and again

With 10–15 dancers on shift, each one returns to the stage at least 4 times a night, so you'll catch everyone more than once.

10 PM

Back-to-back after ten

Arrive early for a relaxed start. From 10 PM the stage never stops: one show rolls straight into the next until close.

The room around the stage

The lounge holds 65 guests in extremely comfortable top-grain leather couches and seats, under dim, warm white lighting that keeps the focus on the stage.

The back booth seats 8 and has its own dance pole, a private stage of its own for birthdays, double dates and small groups.

The VIP area is a separate space with 8 private seats for private dances and couples dances, used in rotation through the night.

The sound comes from our resident DJ, playing clean pop, rock, alternative rock, hip-hop, Top 40 and classics, with a stage light show connected to the music.

How low is the stage at Alley Katz?

Just 6 inches off the floor, the lowest stage in North America. Top-grain leather couches sit right at its edge, so dancers perform directly in front of you instead of above a crowd.

How many dancers perform on a Friday or Saturday?

Usually 10–12 dancers on Fridays and 12–15 on Saturdays. Every dancer performs a 3-song stage set, and each is on stage at least 4 times a night.

When do the stage shows start?

Doors open at 8 PM. From 10 PM the stage shows run back-to-back until close at 3 AM.

What music do you play?

A resident DJ plays clean pop, rock, alternative rock, hip-hop, Top 40 and classics, with a stage light show synced to the music.

How big is the club?
