A Couples’ Night Out in Windsor: How to Do a Strip Club Together

More couples go to strip clubs together than most people assume, for anniversaries, birthdays, a date night that isn’t dinner-and-a-movie, or just curiosity. At Alley Katz couples aren’t an exception to our crowd; they’re a big part of it. Here’s how to make your first night together a good one.
Talk about it before you go
The best couples nights start at home. A two-minute conversation saves a lot of awkwardness:
- What are you each curious about? Just watching the stage? A couples dance? Seeing where the night goes?
- What’s off the table? Agree on your limits together, and agree that either of you can say “let’s head out” at any time, no questions asked.
- What’s the budget? Decide on drinks and dances ahead of time so money never becomes the mood-killer.
Arriving: cover and the greeter
On Friday and Saturday nights (8 PM–3 AM) there’s no need to book. Just walk in. Couples cover is $5 each. Our greeter will say hello, explain how the night works and help you find a seat that fits your comfort level. If you’d like to meet a particular dancer, the greeter can introduce you, which takes the pressure off both of you.
Where to sit as a couple
- Stage-side: leather couches at the edge of the lowest stage in North America, just 6 inches off the floor. Close, energetic and very much in the show.
- Reserved prime lounge seating: a clear view of the stage with a bit more breathing room. Good for easing in.
- The back booth: an 8-person private booth with its own dance pole. Perfect for double dates.
Couples dances
If you’d like a dance together, it happens in our VIP private dance area, a separate space with 8 private seats. Good dancers will check in with both of you about boundaries before they start. One couple wrote on Google that their dancer “asked us about our boundaries and was very respectful,” and that’s the standard we hold to.
On pricing: across North American clubs, dances generally run about $20 per song, and there’s a premium of about $20 for VIP area access at Alley Katz.
Make it an occasion
Tell your server or the DJ if you’re celebrating. Couples come in for anniversaries, birthdays and engagements every weekend, and we like to make a fuss. Pair the night with a premium cocktail or bottle from the bar; see our VIP packages if you’re bringing friends.
A room built to feel comfortable
Alley Katz is a cozy, modern lounge with dim, warm lighting, top-grain leather seating and a staff that’s friendly and non-judgemental. It’s a safe space for LGBTQ+ couples too. It’s the reason we call ourselves Windsor’s No. 1 couples nightlife spot, and why so many couples come back.
